Tasks and duties

• Administering patient medications and treatments under supervision of physician.
• Monitoring, documenting and reporting patient symptoms and changes in condition.
• Collaborating with a healthcare team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate a patient care plan.
• Providing health education to patients and their families about disease management, treatments and preventive care.
• Operating and maintaining medical equipment and devices.
• Coordinating patient discharges and liaising with external healthcare providers and services.
• Conducting research to improve patient care practices and healthcare outcomes.
