What's it like to be an Events Manager?
An Events Manager plans and oversees events to ensure they run smoothly. They coordinate with clients to understand their requirements, plan event aspects (like venue, budget, guest list, and vendors), and ensure everything operates as planned on the event day. Post-event, they conduct reviews to identify areas for future improvement.Tasks and duties
- Liaising with clients to understand their needs and establishing the aims and agenda of the event.
- Researching elements related to particular events, such as lighting, styling, food and venues.
- Ensuring that staff for the event are hired, supervised and briefed.
- Monitoring the event as it's taking place and resolving issues if they arise.
