Health and Safety Advisers help prevent accidents, injuries, and health issues in the workplace. They ensure that an organisation complies with safety legislation and that safety protocols are being followed. They develop and implement health and safety procedures, conduct training sessions, and investigate any incidents that occur.Tasks and duties
- Developing and implementing health and safety policies in the workplace.
- Carrying out risk assessments and suggesting measures to control risks.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Providing training and educational programs on health and safety protocols.
- Investigating accidents and incidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.
- Keeping records of incidents and producing statistics and reports for management.
