Tasks and duties
- Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties on the worksite, such as electricians, plumbers and carpenters.
- Maintaining and cleaning tools and equipment used by tradespeople.
- Performing basic tasks including painting, drilling and fixing.
- Carrying out manual labour tasks, such as digging ditches or clearing sites of debris and other materials.
- Strictly following health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and secure worksite.
- Transporting materials and tools required for the job at hand, ensuring these are available when needed.
- Undergoing ongoing training on-the-job to improve skills and gain experience in various trades.
