Tasks and duties
- Assisting job seekers in defining their career goals and planning employment objectives.
- Evaluating clients' educational and work backgrounds in order to help them to apply for suitable jobs.
- Providing career counselling and advice to clients to guide their development to pursue their chosen career path.
- Organising and conducting job placement services like job readiness training, resume writing, interviewing practice and job searching techniques.
- Monitoring and keeping a record of clients' performance, progression and placement activities.
- Communicating regularly with employers and understanding their job requirements and preferences in order to match them with potential candidates.
- Helping clients with paperwork, for example, completing job applications or developing a resume.
