Another day, same story: applied for a job, had multiple great interviews, was hinted I’m selected - It's been 10 days, no reply despite follow-ups. The company’s well reputed (150+ staff). We deserve at least a yes or no - HRs are paid to communicate. We put effort too. Some employers respond well, others don’t. Don’t get demotivated - keep applying, keep following up. We need jobs, but professionalism should go both ways. I hope this will help you - just my experience from interviews.

Job hunting right now feels like a full-time job itself ❗️I’m well-qualified in marketing but haven’t landed a single interview after 50+ applications. 🫠 I’ve reworked my CV multiple times, yet all I get are rejections or nothing at all! If you are struggling to find a job, you are not alone. It is tough right now and many are in the same boat. It is okay to feel frustrated, but try not to give up. If you can explain why it has been hard, that means you are thinking about it and that is a good start. Use that energy to take small steps forward. Shift your mindset, stay grateful, and keep trying. You have more in you than you think. Progress takes time and that is okay.

Trying to figure out next steps. My partner and I decided to leave our jobs for various reasons, we have a 15 month old baby and have few expenses. I have the option of relief teaching if i want (not keen,) Not too concerned about money and busy (lots to be done), and i know that the right job will come up for my partner. Thinking itd be good to find something remote/flexible where i work 30 hours a week. Not sure what, bookkeeping? As i enjoy planning, researching, organising and im resourceful

I had to wait 45 minutes for a job interview recently. The employer was very apologetic and the interview went well, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Would you see this as a red flag?

How am I meant to get an interview? I haven't been able to get interviews in my degree speciality, or a basic no experience job. I haven't worked for a while, so that doesn't help. I finished my degree and I am currently unemployed. I wish someone would give me a chance, I think I'd be a great employee.

Is it worth applying to job ads that have been up for several days? I see some jobs posted for up to a month - does that mean they haven't had enough suitable applications or do they just leave a job up for a set amount of time? I don't want to apply if there's no chance my resume will be seen. Obviously the best time to apply is straight away, but is it still worth applying to a week old job posting in your experience?
